2008 and 2009 Awards

Since its inception in 1987, the Weatherhead 100 has been the event that showcases the fastest growing companies in Northeast Ohio. Qualifying companies must show consistent growth over the last five years. The Weatherhead 100 list--objectively determined annually and highly regarded throughout the region--is a testament to hard work, commitment, innovation, and the dream to succeed.

2008 and 2009 Awards

The Leading EDGE awards program identifies mid-market companies creating value for themselves and for the Northeast Ohio region at large. Sponsored by the nonprofit Entrepreneurs EDGE (Economic Development through Growth & Entrepreneurship), the Leading EDGE awards are the result of months of survey and data compilation of the region’s most innovative middle-market companies. There were 96 winners in 2009.

2009 Business Growth Award

Falcon was one of 32 companies, and one of 9 in manufacturing, honored for having prominently increased sales and/or employment over the past five years in the greater Akron area.

100% Safety Award Winner 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008

Companies with the best safety records during the year are honored at their annual awards event. Awards are determined and provided by BWC’s Division of Safety and Hygiene.

Falcon Industries has earned the 2002 Ohio Employee Ownership Leadership Award for "Getting Its ESOP Off to a Good Start". The Award was presented at the 16th annual Ohio Employee Ownership Conference on Friday, April 12. The Ohio Employee Ownership Conference recognizes the successes of Ohio's employee-owned business community.
